Outdoor Kitchen Kits
Fully assembled kits make installing an outdoor kitchen a breezeA prefabricated outdoor kitchen requires very little construction in comparison to the custom-built options. Modules are ordered and delivered complete with facing, countertops and appliances. The unit must be set on a level surface and attached to utilities such as electricity, water and gas. A concrete slab is the best foundation choice, but in some cases prefab kitchens can be installed on decks (check with retailer).
Benefits of Prefab Outdoor Kitchens
- Requires little to no kitchen design and planning skills
- Fast installation
- Save on labor costs
- Can be taken with you if you move
Prefabricated outdoor kitchen islands allow you to choose from a variety of configurations and appliance options; however, they can be somewhat limited in material choices. Typically, you will have a choice of stucco or stone veneer and tile or granite countertops. One thing that a prefab unit offers that custom does not is that if you move you can take it with you to your new home.
