A prefabricated outdoor kitchen requires very little construction in comparison to the custom-built options. Modules are ordered and delivered complete with facing, countertops and appliances. The unit must be set on a level surface and attached to utilities such as electricity, water and gas. A concrete slab is the best foundation choice, but in some cases prefab kitchens can be installed on decks (check with retailer).
