This backyard pool and entertaining area gets lots of use both during the day and at night. The family's young children love playing in the water on warm afternoons. By day this city garden is filled with natural light. At night, subtle lighting illuminates the space. Well-placed fixtures wash light softly over the walls of the home and up onto the fencing. Installed lighting is kept mainly on the perimeter of this garden, allowing the fire pit to add a soft glow to the center of the space.

This decked out backyard provides a great place for family fun during the day and at night becomes the ultimate outdoor sports bar. Lighting illuminates the cabana, but not in a way that inhibits the viewing of the five screens or electronic ticker tape. Uplighting and path lighting also add to the overall nighttime ambiance.

This home's front yard was transformed into a tropical oasis. When guests arrive they walk across a bridge that spans over a lagoon that also serves as a pool. At night, both underwater and landscape lighting illuminate the space so that it is safe for visitors. Lights shine down onto the bridge as well as up into the trees.
