Landscape contractors are the ones who do the actual landscaping construction and installation. Duties of a landscape contractor may include grading, pouring concrete or laying stone, construction of patio covers, fire pits, built-in bbqs and installation of plants. Most landscape contractors do not have design experience, but they may be able to recommend a designer or architect for you to use.

If you are already working with a landscape architect or designer they will likely recommend or sub out a contractor that they have worked with before. Make sure the contractor is licensed with the state and carries the appropriate insurance.
