Instead of using plastic or metallic grids on the drain covers in the patios, I like to use these nifty, new little covers. We actually pour concrete or cut a paver into that and it just about disappears. You can kind of see that here. The centerpiece gets filled in, and the drains become less visible. Certainly drains are not part of the decorative element of a project, just part of the function.
