A single large Lummi Island basalt stone was chosen to create this custom fire stone. Lummi Island basalt comes from the San Juan Islands off of the Washington coast, and is prized for it's nearly black color with veins of white quartz. This stone was drilled, dished out and plumbed with natural gas for a clean burning and convenient fire feature. It also serves nicely as a coffee table and centerpiece for the outdoor living space.
