These raised beds are far from ordinary. They are made from industrial steel pipe procured from a California steel yard. The pipes, which are of different heights and widths, are watered with drip irrigation emitters. The largest pipes in the back contain citrus (Meyer lemon, Moro blood orange, Meiwa Kumquat, Kishu mini-mandarin), while the lower pipes in the front contain eggplant, carrots, lettuce and kale.
