This 4 foot wide walkway was made of bricks and granite. The granite was intentionally used to clearly define the steps. The white fence was initially flanked by a couple of peonies and roses and the large rhododendron at the end. To further enhance the garden, Lavender 'Hidcote', Echinacea 'Kim's Knee Hi', Tiarella cordifolia, Geranium striatum, 'Happy returns' Daylilies , Russian sage, Heuchera and other plants were added.
