The Haskell Collection is a new line of outdoor furniture that is modern, eco-sensitive and durable. With previous experience in steel and fashion, the couple behind the line likes to think of the collection as sophisticated, yet fun. They see the furniture being used on urban rooftops, in suburban backyards or at restaurants and hotels. Eco-sensitive Materials
The furniture is constructed of stainless steel with up to 85% recycled content. The steel is strong, low-maintenance and will last a lifetime. The designers say that they want to furniture to become heirloom pieces that are passed from generation to generation. Powder-coating is available in pearl or gray. The furniture is hand made in Southern California to ensure sustainability and quality control. Because of eco-conscious materials and manufacturing, the Haskell Collection can be an asset in getting LEED points for a project.
The cushions are made of Green Natural foam, which is a memory foam type product. The foam is wrapped in Bella Dura fabric that is designed specifically for outdoor use. Fabric options include leaf green, custom suzani, cloud and shadow.
On the horizon are an expanded color palette, outdoor planters, and a Series 8, which will feature furniture with radial, soft forms.
